Forget ’slow news day’ - THIS… is Lazy Post day!
Just watched Lions for Lambs and I was debating a solid review until I found this little gem in my hard drive - a gift from a friend. In the future, people should really be able to share audio-visual content the way we used to make tapes for our friends back in the crazy C20’s. A particular collection meant something to you, and you thought the other person might connect with that through the songs. That kind of cultured mentality to the material helped to counter the manufactured pop culture that will always be with us, even if one or two of the songs were themselves manufactured pop. Hopefully social media will continue to provide us with the tools to allow us connect with people at an ideas level.
Its 7 minutes but put the work in and you shall get your rewards. I thought about how all of us on this unpredictable living rock are all in this togther, and how the balance that supports us is fragile but manageable, if we all work together. And I thought you lovely people might connect with that.
P.S. - Lions For Lambs??? Solid, intelligent, brave and thought provoking. I aint knocking it, but I sill think Paul Greengrass is the only one working today with the style that can make a piece such as this and make it feel as real as it needs to be. Bring on ‘The Green Zone‘.

Fantastic animation.
Still missing the countless hours and days of recording tapes to share with mates… an era the so-called “freedom of information” age has yet to reproduce. Copyright law has gone insane and the soul of creation has been corrupted by the twisted philosophy of “more for less”. The total control of information means the total controll of economy… Does anyone remember ‘Paul Joseph Goebbels’? He was ironically once titled “Minister for Public Enlightenment and Propaganda” and we all know how that ended… In ‘Copyright Law’!!!
